Return & Refund Policy – Melanated Eden

At Melanated Eden, every product and service is created with intention, care, and respect for the land. Because many of our offerings are handcrafted, time-based, or service-oriented, we ask that you review this policy carefully before making a purchase or booking.

By purchasing from Melanated Eden, you agree to the terms outlined below.

🌱 PRODUCT RETURNS & REFUNDS

Botanical Beauty Products

(Oils, body butters, ritual salts, sprays, salves, tinctures, and similar items)

Due to the nature of these products:

  • All Botanical Beauty products are FINAL SALE

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges once an item has been shipped

  • We do not offer refunds for opened, used, or tampered products

This policy is in place to protect the health, safety, and integrity of our customers.

Exceptions

We will replace or refund an item only if:

  • The product arrives damaged

  • The incorrect item was sent

Approved replacements or refunds will be issued at our discretion.

🌿 DIGITAL PRODUCTS & DOWNLOADS

(Journals, planners, PDFs, guides, downloads)

  • All digital products are NON-REFUNDABLE

  • Once access is granted or the file is downloaded, no refunds or exchanges are permitted

If you experience technical issues accessing your digital purchase, please contact us and we will assist you.

🌼 SERVICES – RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Garden Services, Coaching & Consultations

(Houseplant guidance, garden setup, coaching, soil services, watering, repotting, school programs, butterfly releases, etc.)

Because time, preparation, and scheduling are involved:

  • All service bookings are FINAL

  • No refunds are issued once a service is booked

Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule a service one time with at least 48 hours’ notice

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable

  • No-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled

🌾 CUSTOM WORK & MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

(Custom soil mixes, special orders, custom projects, future made-to-order offerings)

  • All custom work is FINAL SALE

  • No cancellations, refunds, or changes once production has begun

🌙 NATURAL VARIATION DISCLAIMER

Melanated Eden honors natural materials. Please note:

  • Botanical products may vary slightly in color, scent, or texture

  • Plant-based offerings are influenced by seasonal availability

  • These variations are normal and not considered defects

By completing a purchase or booking a service, you acknowledge and agree that:
